Where does psychic energy come from?

How do I know things with unexplainable accuracy in psychic readings? Where does this information come from? There’s different ways to tap into psychic energy, here’s a few to think about from my experience:

• Divine Energy

• Spirit

• Your Gut Feeling

• Psychic Imprint

Divine

Psychic energy coming from Divinity can relate to gods, goddesses, angels, etc. This energy feels very pure to me. For example, prophets like the Oracle of Delphi, where there was a direct line between them and the Greek God Apollo. Messages from divine psychic energy are channeled through the person giving the reading. These messages generally intended to keep someone on their spiritual path or connect them to their purpose.

Spirit

Spirits can be humans who have passed away, the psychic energy of a place or object. The key here is that the spirit is still present and able to be called upon. Whether or not they decide to show up is up to them! To authentically connect with a spirit it’s good to already have a relationship with them. A person you knew when they lived, an herb you regularly use to clear your space, or a place you often visit are more open to spirit communication. Overall, messages from a spirit can be wonderful for resolving unfinished business or to build a better relationship with them.

Your gut feeling

We all possess psychic energy within us. I call this intuition or our fight or flight response. This is when your body is trying to tell you something. If a person feels dangerous to you but you have no real explanation why, that’s a gut feeling. Messages from your body can be vague, but generally ring true. When you’ve experienced a lot of trauma your fight or flight response can be off because everything can feel dangerous to your body. You can heal this through different types of therapy and support that healing with reiki.

Psychic Imprint

I don’t see this type of psychic energy talked about a lot, but I do believe this is what causes a place to be haunted. Psychic imprint is like a video on repeat. A very energetically charged experience happens and attaches itself to a place or object. For example, on an old battleground you may still feel heavy energy in the space since many people died there via violence. Or if there’s a wedding venue you may experience a feeling of love in the air. The message behind psychic imprints is to retell the event that happened.
